Decision amending the Decision on temporary prohibition of export of basic commodities of importance for the general public

On 19 March 2020, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a Decision amending the Decision on temporary ban on export of basic commodities of importance for general public (the “Decision“).

The previous decision aimed at introducing a temporary ban on the export of basic essential commodities in order to prevent a critical shortage of these products.

The Government issued a Decision to lift the ban on the export of wheat flour under tariff codes 1101 00 11 00 and 1101 00 15 00, because, based on the position of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, our country has a balance of flour that guarantees a secure supply of the domestic market, and unhindered export.

The Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2020.
