Wind farm in Kosovo

Miomir Stojković led a team that advised a large multinational company on legal aspects of development of 32MW Kitka wind farm in AP Kosovo and Metohija, and about regulatory context for construction i.e. licences and other requirements for construction of the wind park in particular.

We advised on terms and conditions for performance of construction works, required licences, international mobility, force majeure, warranties, legal remedies, penalties and liquidated damages, limitations and exclusion of liability, dispute resolution, choice of law and venue, working with government, environmental liability, intellectual property, contract suspension and termination, matters of indemnity and advice on wording of specific clauses within the contracts.

Results of our work were aimed at enabling our client to legally operate in a new market, and to assist legal moulding and valuation of most important parts of the contracts that are foundation of development and running of the first and largest wind farm in AP Kosovo and Metohija.
