About Nikola
Nikola Lončar is an Associate at Stojković Attorneys. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Kragujevac, in 2021, laying a strong foundation for his legal career, particularly in the field of damages and compensation law.
Following his undergraduate studies, Nikola continued his education at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, where he specialized in corporate law. His master’s thesis, “Compensation for Damages in Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance,” enabled him to further deepen his expertise in damages, civil liability, and compensation mechanisms. This specialization provided him with valuable insights into insurance law, especially claims handling and settlement practices arising from traffic-related incidents.
Professional Experience – Damages and Civil Litigation
From 2021 to 2024, Nikola worked as a legal trainee at a law firm in Belgrade, where he focused primarily on civil law matters, with a strong emphasis on damages and compensation claims. During this period, he regularly represented clients in litigation and was involved in resolving complex cases related to civil liability and compensation.
This experience allowed Nikola to develop a thorough understanding of civil litigation procedures, evidence assessment, and claims management. In April 2024, he passed the Serbian Bar Exam, achieving particularly strong results in administrative law, further strengthening his professional qualifications.
Role at Stojković Attorneys
As a member of the Stojković Attorneys team, Nikola actively contributes to matters involving damages and compensation, while also working on cases related to civil law, employment law, corporate law, and immigration law.
In addition, Nikola has gained substantial practical experience within the firm in several key areas, including:
- Real estate transactions and property-related matters,
- Resolution of various types of disputes, beyond damages and compensation claims,
- Inheritance and succession matters,
- Legal support to members of the Serbian diaspora in procedures for acquisition of Serbian citizenship by descent, in which he has contributed to more than 100 successfully completed cases,
- Assisting senior attorneys in matters involving regulated industries, including compliance-related and sector-specific legal work.
