About Jovana
Jovana Ilić joined Stojković Attorneys as an Associate Attorney in 2024, where she continues to build her legal career in Serbia.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, in April 2021 and subsequently enrolled in postgraduate (LL.M.) studies with a focus on criminal law.
During her studies, Jovana was an active member of both domestic and international legal organizations, gaining valuable early exposure to various areas of law and legal practice.
Professional Experience
Jovana began her professional career as a legal trainee and subsequently progressed to the position of attorney at a law firm in Belgrade, where she worked across a broad range of legal fields, including corporate law, employment law, administrative law, contract law, inheritance law, and property law.
During this period, she was extensively involved in large-scale real estate and construction projects, including some of the largest commercial developments in Serbia, such as the construction and development of LIDL retail facilities, AFI commercial centers, as well as numerous shopping, residential, and business complexes. Through this work, Jovana gained hands-on experience in complex permitting procedures, regulatory coordination, and project-related legal support.
In parallel, she represented clients before courts and administrative authorities in various civil and employment-related disputes. This combination of advisory and contentious work enabled her to build a strong and practical understanding of real estate law, corporate structuring, and regulatory compliance.
A particularly significant part of her practice has been dedicated to legalization and legalization-related proceedings (ozakonjenje objekata). Over the years, Jovana has developed deep expertise in navigating complex legalization frameworks, making her one of the firm’s key experts in this highly technical and sensitive area.
Current Role at Stojković Attorneys
As a member of the Stojković Attorneys team, Jovana has continued and further expanded her work in real estate development, construction projects, and legalization matters, maintaining continuity in her involvement in major commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
In addition, she has developed substantial practical experience in advising IT companies, providing legal support across a wide range of corporate, contractual, employment, and regulatory matters relevant to the technology sector.
Fluent in Serbian and English, Jovana works closely with both domestic and international clients, delivering clear, structured, and pragmatic legal guidance, particularly in projects that require coordination between multiple stakeholders and authorities.
