Alan Abazović is a Special Advisor at Stojković Attorneys and a senior tax and accounting expert with over 15 years of experience in taxation and finance. He also serves as Director of Consulting and Accounting at Demanda Group.
Alan advises both domestic and international clients on international and domestic taxation, accounting, and tax planning, delivering practical, accurate, and strategically grounded advice in complex financial and regulatory environments.
Professional Experience
Alan began his career at Confida Finodit, where he developed a strong foundation in tax advisory services. He subsequently held senior positions at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, working on complex tax projects for both local and international clients.
His work at these firms covered a wide range of tax matters, including corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and tax structuring, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate taxation and cross-border tax planning.
Alan later joined Nelt Group, where he led tax operations across multiple Balkan jurisdictions. He then assumed the role of Director of Tax Accounting and Tax Policy at Mozzart Group, where he worked on projects spanning three continents—Europe, Africa, and Latin America. In these roles, he gained extensive experience in multijurisdictional tax compliance, tax policy implementation, and alignment with local regulatory frameworks.
Certifications and Education
Alan obtained the title of Certified Auditor in 2015. He regularly participates in international training programs and professional seminars to stay current with global tax developments.
He also completed specialist postgraduate studies in tax advisory at the Faculty of Law, further strengthening his technical expertise and professional qualifications.
